The blessed name of Abu Bakr As-siddeeq Radhiyallahu anhu should be added in as the first man to accept Islam, and that he was a close friend of the Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam.

      Asalamu’alaikum,
Yes! He was the first man to accept Islam, Alhamdulillah. He was a great Sahabah RA. This blog was about a book review on Khadijah RA, so we added details about her and her standing in Islam as the Wife of our Prophet Muhammad SAW, the Mother of the Believers, and as one of the blessed women promised Paradise. May Allah be pleased with them ALL, Ameen.

    Assalamualaikum,
I would like to mention that brother Ibrahim said that you should add Abu Bakr as the first man to convert. I do not mean to be rude but many people skip over the fact that is was Khadija he’s cousin, Waraqah Ibn Nawfal, who was the first man to convert. Also, wikipedia mentions a hadith about Waraqah having one or two gardens in Paradise which I am not entirely sure is authentic, because it doesn’t say where it came from. Can you tell me if it is authentic and, if so, where it is found?

      Walaiakum’asalam,
I believe that Waraqah Ibn Nawfal did not actually “become Muslim”, because the Prophet SAW was not doing Dawah at that time. He didn’t know what was happening to him and so he was not looking for followers at the time. While, Waraqah did know about the Prophethood, he didn’t really become Muslim, as he was already a believer and no actually conversion tool place. I hope that makes sense. The Hadith you quoted is classed at Sahih:
Narrated from `Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not revile Waraqah, for I saw that he will be in the Garden (Paradise), or will have two gardens.” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]
